D.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI) partnered with GMA Kapuso Foundation, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, Republic Cement, Equator Energy, the Department of Public Works and Highways and the local government unit of Buhi, Camarines Sur to build a disaster resistant hanging bridge in Brgy. Iraya, an agricultural islet classified as one of the poorest communities in the country.

DMCI provided the steel cables used to suspend the 30-meter steel and concrete bridge. Inaugurated last 20 October 2017, the bridge now safely connects around 1,500 locals to the school, market, church and health center situated across the tributary river of Buhi Lake.

DMCI Homes spent over P20 million to complete the construction of the lecture room, canteen and theater of the Institute of Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines College of Engineering in Diliman, Quezon City.

The theater has been named after Engr. David M. Consunji, the founder of the DMCI group of companies. Generations of engineering students are expected to benefit from the theater and other facilities.

Semirara Mining and Power Corporation operates and maintains a port and marine vessel that can transport 200 passengers and cargo to and from Semirara Island and Bulalacao in Oriental Mindoro. The fast-ferry service runs three days a week and charges around P250 per passenger.

Berong Nickel Corporation funded the construction of one classroom building in Tungib Elementary School, which will benefit 300 to 500 students, faculty and staff.

In Berong Elementary School, the company built a multi-purpose hall which will be used by the 450 students and 18 faculty members in the area.
